All boaters are welcome to join Club cruises and there is no charge for participation.

2018
December Monday 31st
Icicle Cruise to Rembrandt Gardens for a BBQ lunch and return to SPCC for the traditional New Year’s Eve party.

January Saturday 12th – Saturday 19th
The Caribbean Cruise. An excellent opportunity for a short tideway transit with moorings for a week in West India Dock. The fee of £50 per vessel includes an electrical supply and use of the facilities block. The Survivors’ Supper organised by Di & Colin Parlett will be held in a local hostelry on Friday 18th commencing at 1900. Cruise registration form.

February Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th and Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th
Cruising workshops in preparation for the Tideway, Fenland and The Wash Cruises.

March Saturday 23rd
The Daffodil Cruise. A short, one lock cruise through Islington tunnel, returning to the clubhouse for drinks and communal supper.

April Friday 19th – Monday 22nd
The Easter Cruise to the village of Hanwell for the annual Beer Festival at The Fox. Cruise the long pound or Thames Tideway, with the opportunity to complete the London Ring. On Saturday 20th we’ll hold the customary club BBQ (whatever the weather).

May Friday 3rd – Monday 6th

Saturday 18th
The annual Thames Tideway Cruise for members and visitors. The transit includes passage through the Thames Barrier on the ebb, returning inbound on the first of the flood, continuing to Brentford and Teddington. The mandatory safety brief and optional communal supper will be held in the Cruising Association, adjacent to Limehouse lock at 1900 on Friday 17th May.

Sunday 19th
The Fenland Frolics Cruises. Following on from the Tideway Cruise, we’ll continue upstream from Teddington to Oxford, thence to Fenland and Boston, for the Wash Crossing.

June Saturday 15th – Sunday 16th.
The Wash Crossing. Departing Boston at circa 0745. Details of moorings prior to departure and the mandatory safety brief will be promulgated following the Fenland reconnaissance.

Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd
The Solstice Cruises. For those in London, a return to the ever-popular Lee Navigation and Spring Lea Cruising Club. To be led by Claire Daisy; details will be promulgated in due course.

July and August
Playtime in Fenland for as long as you wish to stay, followed by the return to St. Pancras via the River Nene, Northampton Arm and Southern Grand Union or South Oxford and River Thames.

Late August Saturday 24th – Monday 26th

Friday 30th
SPCC and IWA sponsored tideway transit from Limehouse to Brentford and Teddington via the Thames Barrier and Margaret Ness, escorting boaters departing from the IWA Festival of Water. The mandatory safety brief will be held in the Cruising Association, adjacent to Limehouse Lock at 1900 on Thursday 29th August.

Saturday 31st
An early morning downstream transit from Teddington to Limehouse, thence to City Road Basin for those attending the Boaters’ BBQ on the evening prior to the Angel Canal Festival on Sunday 1st September.

September Sunday 1st

Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th
Slough Canal Festival, held on the Slough Arm, adjacent to Bloom Park, Langley.

October Saturday 26th
The traditional Spooky Cruise takes us out to Kensal Rise visitor moorings with fun in the cemetery, followed by a return to St. Pancras in the fading light for the Hallowe’en Party.

November Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th
The Poppy Cruise held during the Remembrance Weekend. Moor at Rembrandt Gardens, Little Venice, with a communal supper in the Warwick Castle.

December Tuesday 31st
Icicle Cruise. The final cruise of the year to Little Venice for the customary lunchtime BBQ, returning to St. Pancras for the New Year’s Eve celebrations
